Heal Our Land

WHAT’S IT ABOUT?

When the idea of Heal Our Land was first put to church leaders in the Mersey Region the most striking thing was the values that it shared with TFH: unity, prayer and mobilisation.

Heal Our Land is about recognising that our nation is in great need spiritually and that the only way its ills can be fixed is by a move of God. As a result of the passion of a few people nationally a UK-wide tour has been proposed, which has been eagerly taken up by churches in cities and town across the nation. It is another nation-wide movement of prayer and evangelism.

The idea is for a tour of cities, beginning in Liverpool and the Mersey region. In each location there will be a two week locally run programme.

Week one is a week of prayer, when churches pray with the same objectives for harvest and transformation in the region.

At the end of the first week there will be a Prayer Concert, with locally formed choirs, prayer leaders and church leaders coming together with the national tour team, to pray together into the issues of the nation that we want to call on God for.

The second week is given over to a multiplicity of locally originated evangelism projects  on the ground as churches involved decide to do them.

As we pray together and reach out together we are trusting God for men, women, boys and girls to come to faith in Jesus and for our region to be impacted with the Gospel.
